The US State Department confirmed this. Entry permits have been granted for members of the delegation and essential staff. The delegation includes President Masoud Pezeshkian and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, sources told AP.
The delegation, which will be smaller than last year, is subject to travel restrictions, among other things.
Iranian leaders also participated last year. This was before the Iran-Iraq War began on February 28 of this year, but after the Twelve-Day War in June 2025.
