A Syrian government official announced that the forces "will have withdrawn from Syria within a month and there will no longer be any military presence on the bases." The statement was also confirmed by a Kurdish source.
The withdrawal should be completed within 20 days, a third source said.
The reports come after the US military began withdrawing from a significant base in northeastern Syria on Monday; the area is still controlled by Kurdish forces.
US forces have also withdrawn from the bases of Al-Tanf in the southeast and Shadadi in the northeast over the past two weeks.
