The US envoy, Steve Witkoff, travels on Tuesday to the Middle East for new talks on a humanitarian corridor in Gaza.
Witkoff travels to the region with a "great hope for an agreement on a new ceasefire and a humanitarian corridor for the influx of emergency aid, which both parties can agree on", according to a statement from the US Department of State.
