The US embassy in Jerusalem will be closed for the next three days, announces the American Foreign Department.
"We have no messages about assisting American private individuals to leave at the moment", it says in a security message published on social media.
The message comes after the US President Donald Trump urged Iran to "unconditional surrender" and threatened that the US knows where Iran's supreme leader ayatollah Ali Khamenei is hiding.
