The weakening of the US dollar continues, and one dollar now costs less than 9 kronor - the first time since early 2022. On Saturday morning, one dollar was worth 8.94 kronor, compared with 9.21 kronor at the start of the year.
The weakening of the US currency has been ongoing for some time and has intensified recently following, among other factors, President Donald Trump's statements about Greenland. At the same time, the Swedish krona has been the currency that has strengthened the most against the dollar, a trend that is expected to continue.
For example, Handelsbanken, in a recently published forecast, estimates that one dollar will cost 8.68 kronor by the end of the year.
