The customs pause introduced on certain export goods to the USA may be extended, the White House announces according to several media outlets.
Previously, a deadline has been set for July 9 when the customs duties are to come into force. But that date is not decisive, says the White House press spokesperson Karoline Leavitt.
The customs duties in question are aimed at a number of countries and according to the White House, President Trump can introduce customs duties against countries that do not succeed in reaching an agreement with the USA.
