In addition to the line of communication between the countries for “incidents,” a “US-China dialogue on superintelligence (SI) is being established to discuss the risks and benefits” of AI. According to the White House, the presidents have agreed to use the term SI instead of AI.
The next exchange between the countries in the dialogue is planned for November, the White House says.
Xi Jinping also urged the US and China to handle technology responsibly.
