The Stockholm Stock Exchange is expected to rise at the 9 a.m. opening. According to pre-trade at IG Markets, there looks to be a lift of around 0.9 percent when the shortened trading day begins; ahead of the long weekend the Stockholm Stock Exchange closes at 1 p.m.
During the morning, leading Asian markets rose after the announcement that Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, among others, will accompany President Donald Trump on his trip to China and his meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
In Sweden, Tele2 announced yesterday evening a CEO change: the current CEO is stepping down for personal reasons after 1.5 years in the position.
