Slight rise on the Stockholm Stock Exchange as OMXS closes up 0.2 percent

After the recent negative development, there was a weak recovery during a shortened trading day.

This follows gains in leading markets in Asia following the announcement that Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and other US business heavyweights are accompanying President Donald Trump on his trip to China and his meeting with President Xi Jinping.

Among the winners was mining giant Boliden, which gained 4.5 percent at the close. Ericsson also performed strongly, rising 3.2 percent.

Yesterday evening, Tele2 announced a CEO change, with the current CEO resigning for personal reasons. Tele2's shares fell 1.9 percent. At the same time, the defense group Saab continued to decline, falling 3.6 percent today.
