It was on April 29, 2025, that three people - two teenage boys, aged 15 and 16, and a 20-year-old man - were shot dead inside the barbershop. The acts were described as pure executions, with the 21-year-old shooter admitting to the crimes in exchange for payment.
Just two weeks earlier, he had shot two people in Eslöv and seriously injured them.
He was sentenced to life imprisonment in the district court.
The now 22-year-old man has consistently denied involvement and appealed the verdict in the hope of being acquitted of all charges, namely murder, attempted murder and aggravated weapons offences.
But the Svea Court of Appeal reached the same decision as the district court, except that it sentenced one of the accomplices in Uppsala to a slightly shorter prison sentence and increased the damages to the victims in Eslöv.
It is still not known who was actually behind it and who was targeted.
"Who ordered the murder missions, which criminal group the client belongs to, or what instructions the shooter received about the target have not emerged in the case," says Court of Appeal Councilor Anne Wartin in a press release.
