Traffic situation is expected to be strained – especially between Stockholm and Uppsala – despite the fact that train traffic is replaced with buses.
”The weekend will be a challenge for many commuters and residents in the Uppsala area. We are doing everything we can, and in close collaboration with, among other things, SL, to make the journey as smooth as possible”, says David Brevik, contract administrator for traffic production, in a press release.
Furthermore, Brevik urges travelers to only travel if they must.
The background to the train stop is a large construction project north of Uppsala Central.
Train traffic is closed from Friday at 13:00 to Monday at 05:00.
