Uppsala victims of triple murder last week honored with a minute of silence outside the city hall at 3 pm on Wednesday.

"Our thoughts are with the victims, their families, and all who have lost a friend and a classmate in this brutal act of violence", says Erik Pelling (S), in a statement on the municipality's website.

A minute of silence was also held at Rosendal High School, where one of the murdered boys was a pupil, reports local media.

Four people are detained, suspected of involvement in the shooting at a hair salon near Vaksala Square in central Uppsala last Tuesday week. Three young individuals, including a 15-year-old and a 16-year-old boy, were killed in the shooting.
