The hacker group, known for extortion, threatened to leak sensitive data from several Swedish universities.
Instructure has announced that it has reached an agreement with the hackers and has received confirmation that the stolen data has been deleted. However, it is not clear what the settlement actually entails, or whether a ransom has been paid.
Around 30 Swedish universities use Canvas, including Chalmers, KTH and the Swedish National Defence University.
