United's crazy turnaround – beat City in the derby

Amorim and Pep Guardiola, City's manager, warmly hugged each other before the meeting and seemed to talk confidentially.

Both had gone through a tough period.

Guardiola had good reason to believe that his worst difficulties were behind him.

Then Matheus Nunes stepped into action with a brain failure. First, he hit a too short back pass, then he ran over Diallo and United got a penalty.

Turned around in three minutes

It was scored by Fernandes in the 88th minute. Just two minutes later, Amad Diallo decided. Pep Guardiola couldn't believe his eyes. He looked completely devastated.

Under Amorim, United had only one win in four Premier League matches. It didn't help him that Mason Mount was forced to leave Etihad Stadium injured after just 13 minutes of play. He was replaced by Kobbie Mainoo.

The next blow was dealt by Josko Gvardiol, when the Croat nodded in City's leading goal in the 37th minute.

It heated up properly shortly after. United's Danish striker Rasmus Højlund got furious at City-back Kyle Walker. The two put their foreheads against each other, Walker played theater and fell down. It all ended in a yellow card each.

Rúben Amorim chose to leave both Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho out of the squad.

Victor Nilsson Lindelöf came in towards the end.

Crystal Palace continues on its upward trend. Ismaila Sarr scored two of the goals in the 3–1 win away against Brighton. Crystal Palace's unbeaten streak is now up to five league matches.

National team midfielder Yasin Ayari played from the start in Brighton but was substituted in the second half.

Goal by Kulusevski

Dejan Kulusevski scored the 3–0 goal when Tottenham crushed bottom-placed Southampton with 5–0. All goals were scored in the first half.

Lucas Bergvall played his first full match for Tottenham.

Second-placed Chelsea is closing in on leading Liverpool after beating Brentford with 2–1. Now two points behind.
