Seven men in their 20s and 30s, all employees of the Armed Forces, were injured in the accident and five of them required intensive care.
According to the Swedish Armed Forces' report to the Swedish Work Environment Authority, the cause was unexploded ammunition that was supposed to be destroyed but exploded before it could be destroyed.
