The security company Securitas' profit before tax landed at 2,801 million kronor for the second quarter. This can be compared to the profit of 2,620 million kronor for the corresponding period the previous year.

Analysts had on average expected a profit before tax of 2,770 million kronor, according to Bloomberg's compilation.

The operating margin was 6.9 percent.

Revenue amounted to 40.6 billion kronor, compared to 39.9 billion the previous year. The forecast was 41.4 billion.

"The operating cash flow improved in the second quarter compared to the previous year, in line with our expectations after the weaker first quarter. We have a stable position to report a strong outcome for the full year 2024", writes CEO Magnus Ahlqvist in the quarterly report.
