Unclear whether Natanz nuclear facility was hit, IAEA says

Yesterday, they attacked Iran's peaceful, safe nuclear facilities again. Their motive, that Iran wants to develop nuclear weapons, is simply a big lie, claims Iran's IAEA ambassador, Reza Najafi, referring to "Natanz", which is located 220 kilometers south of Tehran.

The head of the UN Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, has previously said that there are no signs that the nuclear facilities have been attacked in the war.

Iran's enrichment of uranium and suspicions that it wants to develop its own nuclear weapons have caused global concern for decades. Tehran claims that the country's atomic program is civilian.
