The airspace over the airport in Ålborg in Denmark has been closed due to unauthorized drone flying, reports Danish TV2.

That the airspace has been closed due to drone flying is confirmed by the airport, but it is unclear whether it is a matter of one or several drones.

Four aircraft have been redirected, according to Martin Nielsen, sales and marketing manager at Aalborg Airport.

It is a flight from Norwegian and two from SAS. Another flight, from Amsterdam, has been redirected to Billund, according to the website Flightradar 24.

The police in Jutland say they have received several reports of drones in the air.

At 00.30, the National Police will hold a press conference about the incident.
