The international UN staff who were deprived of their freedom over the weekend by Huthi movement's security forces are now "free to move within the facility".

Five Yemeni citizens who were among those deprived of their freedom have been released, the UN announced.

The raid took place on Saturday when individuals belonging to the Huthi movement made an "unauthorized entry" into the UN office in Yemen's capital Sanaa, where 20 employees were held.

Also in August, a similar raid was carried out where at least eleven people were deprived of their freedom from UN premises in Sanaa.
