The war in Gaza has led to "unprecedented loss of life and a catastrophic humanitarian crisis," the EU and the UN write.
They estimate that over the next ten years, approximately $71.4 billion, equivalent to just over SEK 654 billion, is needed to rebuild Gaza.
A large part of Gaza, including hospitals, schools and infrastructure, has been destroyed during the war.
In the first 18 months alone, $26.3 billion is needed to restore important infrastructure and support economic recovery, according to the assessment, to which the World Bank also contributed.
