The men are suspected of having planned sabotage against Ukraine.
According to the prosecutors, the three are said to have agreed to send packages with explosive or flammable devices from Germany to Ukraine. The men are reported to have planned to place the packages on freight transports in Germany, which would later explode on their way to Ukraine.
Two of the men were arrested at different locations in Germany, one on Friday and one on Saturday. The third suspect was arrested on Tuesday in northern Switzerland.
Since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Moscow has been accused of a long series of sabotage and attack plans in Europe.
