$10,000 paid in cryptocurrency. That is how much it supposedly cost to get a fake teaching certificate. 21 men between the ages of 26 and 50 allegedly took advantage of the scheme. The men also allegedly had to pay around $700 per month to cover alleged taxes.
"While some Ukrainians defend the country, others are trying to buy the opportunity to stand aside," writes Ukraine's Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko on Telegram.
The men allegedly had to appear at the schools, where they allegedly worked, once every two months to perform certain administrative tasks.
Five people have been arrested for organising the whole thing, including principals of private schools in Kyiv and the surrounding region.
