"Every visit is a powerful reminder of Ukraine's courage and resilience," writes EU Foreign Affairs Director Kaja Kallas on X after arriving in Kyiv.
With her are, among others, Sweden's Foreign Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard (M) and representatives of several other EU countries.
The purpose is twofold. It is partly about honoring the victims of the Russian abuses in Bucha during the beginning of the renewed Russian invasion four years ago, and partly about putting increased weight behind the international tribunal that is being built.
"We will do everything we can to ensure accountability for Russia's crimes," Kallas writes.
