The conversation takes place in Miami.
A joint meeting with US envoy Steve Witkoff, adviser Jared Kushner, and US Army Secretary Daniel Driscoll is planned, according to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's chief of staff, Kyrylo Budanov.
"Together with Rustem Umerov and Davyd Arakhamia, we will have important discussions with our American partners about the details of the peace agreement," he wrote on X.
Zelenskyy said on Friday that he hopes to sign an agreement on US security guarantees next week, during the World Economic Forum in Davos, where US President Donald Trump is also expected.
