On Sunday, the oil refinery Lukoil-Uchta in the Komi Republic was hit by a Ukrainian drone. The Ukrainian intelligence service HUR claims that they attacked the facility because it supplies the Russian military with fossil fuels.

The attack is said to be the first confirmed one during the entire war in the Komi Republic, which is located far northeast of Moscow, about 2,000 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.

LATER on Sunday and during the night towards Monday, continued large Ukrainian drone attacks near Moscow claimed at least three civilian lives, according to Russian authorities, citing international media.

The attacks are also said to have been directed at the capital itself, but two of the deaths occurred in Tula, a dozen miles south of Moscow.

A third dead person has been found in the Nizhny Novgorod area, east of Moscow.

"Their goal was our industrial areas," writes Governor Gleb Nikitin.

According to Ukrainian media, it was also about industries working for the Russian military there.
