The attack targeted a factory that manufactures robots, reports the Ukrainian newspaper The Kyiv Independent.
The factory in Votkinsk is described as a state-owned defense facility that is considered one of the most important robot factories in Russia.
According to Ukrainian sources, both Iskander-M ballistic missiles and intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) are produced at the Votkinsk plant. The newly developed hypersonic ballistic missile Oreshnik is also suspected of being manufactured there.
