Ukraine has sent an attack drone against a nuclear power plant in Russian Smolensk, reports the Russian state-owned nuclear energy company Rosatom. The nuclear power plant is located about 30 miles west of Moscow.
According to a statement, the attack drone is said to have been neutralized.
Russia had earlier in the day stated that 221 Ukrainian drones had been stopped during the night. There are no reports of injuries.
Ukraine has carried out drone attacks against Russian energy facilities for several months, in what is seen as a response to the Russian attacks on Ukrainian cities and power grids.
