President Volodymyr Zelensky wants to open Ukrainian interest offices in both the German capital Berlin and the Danish capital Copenhagen, focusing on arms production and arms exports.

In addition, joint weapons production is planned with both Denmark and Germany.

The announcement on Monday was made through Ukraine's national news agency Ukrinform.

"I see it as absolutely right that the Ukrainians are focusing on exporting (the country's) defense industry and technology to other countries," writes Denmark's Minister of Industry Morten Bødskov (S) in a written statement to the Danish news agency Ritzau.

"It's definitely something that we can see, and that we are talking to Ukraine about," the minister continues.

In September, it became clear that Ukraine and Denmark will cooperate with Denmark in the production of rocket fuel, with production in Sønderjylland.
