An air defense agreement was signed during the visit, two well-placed sources told AFP.
The agreement reportedly means that Ukraine will help Saudi Arabia develop its defense against air attacks, in a situation where Iranian drones and missiles have been used to target the country.
Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy briefly announced on Thursday that the countries had reached a military agreement and that he had met with Saudi Arabia's ruling Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
