The goal is to get started in early 2026 and then expand capacity during the year, according to the Norwegian Ministry of Defense.
"After production, these drones will be donated to Ukraine," says Defense Minister Tore O Sandvik in a written comment to NTB.
The agreement means that Ukraine will "share technology and innovation" with Norway.
“The goal is to achieve closer and deeper cooperation with the Norwegian defense industry to increase production capacity and thereby Europe's security,” says Sandvik.
Ukraine is prominent in drone technology, not least for military use, as a result of its defense against the Russian invasion.
