Explosions were heard in the city center, and the target was reportedly a factory that produces air defense systems. Ukrainian special forces confirmed that they struck electronic warfare equipment and radio-reconnaissance systems, as well as a logistics warehouse at a nearby airfield.
Crimea's Russian-appointed governor Mikhail Razvozhayev said one person was killed and two were injured in the attack. This information could not be verified.
Meanwhile, Russia attacked Ukraine with over 130 drones on Thursday night. 109 of these were shot down by Ukrainian air defenses. In the Sumy region of eastern Ukraine, three people were killed in these attacks.
