Matches have been moved in the Ukrainian league so that the camp can start on Friday, British-Ukrainian football journalist Andrew Todos, who has followed the Ukrainian national team for over eight years, tells TT.
A total of 15 players in the squad are based at domestic clubs. Many of them will already be in Spain on Friday ahead of the World Cup playoff semi-final against Sweden in Valencia on March 26.
Preparations have started as early as possible, and there will be enough players to carry out some form of training, says Todos.
The squad will only be complete on Monday - that's when the Swedish players will also gather.
The winner of the match will face either Poland or Albania in a qualifying final on March 31.
