President Volodymyr Zelenskyy writes in a post that the Ukrainian-made long-range missile Flamingo was used.
The Ukrainian General Staff says that the premises hit belong to a company that manufactures launchers used, among other things, in Russia's attempts to build its own Starlink-type satellite internet.
Samara Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev confirms that the facility was hit, but does not say what the operation was or how extensive the damage is.
The industrial facility is located about 900 kilometers from the Ukrainian border and the strike is another sign that Ukraine is now reaching far into Russia with its attacks.
