Ukrainian drones have hit a refinery in the city of Sterlitamak in the republic of Bashkortostan, about 1,400 kilometers southeast of Moscow, the Ukrainian intelligence service HUR said on the messaging service Telegram.
The plant manufactures products for the Russian military, including aviation fuel.
A fire has broken out as a result of the attack, which was reportedly carried out on Thursday.
