Russian foot soldiers are trying to storm the Ukrainian region of Sumy from Kursk, according to Ukrainian authorities, citing AFP.
"The Russians are currently trying to attack the border, not with vehicle convoys but with foot soldiers", writes a Ukrainian authority, which counteracts disinformation, on social media.
"So far, they have not succeeded and the battles continue."
Ukraine launched an offensive against the Russian Kursk region in August last year. There, 10,000 soldiers from North Korea have fought on behalf of Russia, according to intelligence services in Ukraine, the USA, and South Korea.
