Vadym Filashkin, governor of the Donetsk region, said Russian forces attacked Kramatorsk and the village of Bilenke eight times on Thursday evening. One person was killed and at least 23 were injured.
Russia also sent new drones toward Ukraine during the night. Most of the attacks were repelled, according to air defence.
In the Sumy region, a 29-year-old woman and her nine-year-old son were killed in a dawn attack on a residential building, according to the military command. Four other people were injured, two of whom are being treated in hospital.
Two people were also reported injured in an attack in Zaporizhzhia in the past 24 hours.
