Ukrainian authorities say one person has been killed and 15 injured in Russian attacks on Ukraine, just hours before a ceasefire for Orthodox Easter celebrations is expected to begin.
The Ukrainian city of Poltava and the border region of Sumy have been attacked.
The ceasefire is scheduled to begin on Saturday. Earlier in the war, a number of short ceasefires have been declared, but both sides have accused each other of violating them.
