The terms for the special export credit guarantees provided to companies in connection with deals in Ukraine are being extended, the government writes in a press release.

"The maximum term is being extended from 2028 to 2035. The changes will come into force on June 1, 2025", the government writes.

The special export credit guarantees – which are provided for deals that contribute to economic and social development and welfare in Ukraine – were introduced last April. To obtain guarantees from the government, approval is required from the Export Credit Board.
