Another dozen people have been injured, including at least two children. Fires reportedly broke out in connection with the attack.
In Zhytomyr, further west, a woman was also killed in a Russian drone attack, according to local authorities.
Overnight, one person was also killed in a Ukrainian attack on the Russian city of Samara, around 1,000 kilometers east of Moscow, and another was killed in the Belgorod region near the border with Ukraine.
Both Ukraine and Russia claim to have shot down more than 100 enemy drones overnight.
