Ukraine claims to have attacked a fuel depot in Voronezh in southwestern Russia, reports AFP.
Aircraft factory in Smolensk in western Russia is also said to have been attacked during the night, as well as a Russian military outpost in Donetsk in Russian-occupied Ukraine.
The message from Ukraine's military comes at the same time as the Russian Defense Ministry announces that it has shot down 55 Ukrainian drones in a large-scale nighttime attack. Ten of them were shot down over Smolensk and six over Voronezh, according to Russia.
According to The Kyiv Independent, combat aircraft of the type Suchoj Su-25 are manufactured and modernized at the attacked facility in Smolensk.
