Several Ukrainian cities, including Odesa and Dnipro, and a number of regions have been hit by Russian attacks on Monday night.
One person who was in the Kherson region in the southern part of the country was killed, according to Governor Oleksandr Prokudin .
At least 26 people have been injured in the Dnipropetrovsk region after attacks on residential buildings, according to the region's governor. In addition, two people, an 11-year-old boy and a 59-year-old man, have been injured in Odesa. The drone attacks hit three residential buildings, according to Governor Oleh Kiper.
In the Zaporizhia region, three people were injured, according to Governor Ivan Fedorov.
According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the Russian attacks also hit a Chinese ship. On X, he wrote that Russia “could not have been unaware of which ship was at sea.”
The information about the attack comes the day before Russian President Vladimir Putin's two-day visit to Beijing, where he is to meet his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping.
Russia attacked Ukraine with a total of 524 drones and 22 missiles during the night, the Ukrainian Air Force said.
