At least 30 North Korean soldiers have been either killed or injured in the Russian border region of Kursk, according to Ukraine's military intelligence service.
According to Ukrainian reports, North Korea's forces suffered heavy losses over the weekend.
Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyj said on Saturday that Russia has begun using North Korean soldiers in attacks on Ukrainian positions in Kursk.
North Korea has, according to American assessments, sent over 10,000 soldiers to Russia to participate in the war against Ukraine.
