The United Kingdom's central bank, the Bank of England, is leaving the interest rate unchanged at 4.25 percent. This was also in line with what the analysts had expected.
The central bank's members were in disagreement about the decision and three out of a total of nine members voted for an interest rate cut. This was more than expected, writes Bloomberg.
