UK Economy Grows 0.5% in February, Exceeding Expectations

The British economy grew by 0.5 percent in February compared to the previous month, according to the statistics agency ONS. This was significantly more than the average forecast among analysts of 0.1 percent and can be compared to the zero growth in January compared to the previous month.

In annual terms, this means a growth of 1.4 percent in February, compared to 1.2 percent in January.
