The newspaper says it has seen a letter Uefa sent to Gianni Infantino on Friday.

On Saturday night, Swedish time, the International Football Association Board (FIFA) announced that the controversial proposal would be scrapped.

In the letter, Uefa says it is “considering legal action.” It also says that Infantino and FIFA are obliged to “save all relevant documents and electronically stored information.”

The same message has been sent to other actors who were allegedly involved in the process of selling shares to private investors, including the major bank JP Morgan and a company run by Joshua Kushner, brother of US President Donald Trump's son-in-law.
