The Conference League match between Djurgården and Polish Legia Warszawa at Tele2 arena, now 3Arena, was interrupted after the arena became smoke-filled due to pyrotechnic devices.

Now Uefa chooses to penalize Djurgården for the incident, but also for other rule violations.

Djurgården is penalized for blocking walkways, unauthorized messages on the stands, and igniting pyrotechnic devices. The total fine amounts to 67,000 euro, equivalent to 769,000 kronor.

In addition, the club is forced to close its short side at the next home match in the Conference League, which will be the round of 16 in March. Which team will provide the opposition is not yet clear.
