The European Football Association (Uefa) is launching an investigation into Hammarby after a coin was thrown at Manchester City's goal-scorer Khadija Shaw during yesterday's Champions League match, according to Aftonbladet and Expressen.
The City star had the coin thrown at her after the 1-0 goal when she celebrated in front of Hammarby's stand.
I was surprised. I've never been in a situation like that before. But I just tried to stay calm and think that it's part of the game, said Shaw after the match.
Hammarby condemned Shaw's celebration in front of the Hammarby stand.
It's disgusting. You shouldn't do that to our fans, said Cathinka Tandberg.
The match ended 2–1 to Manchester City.
