There are currently no alternative venues being considered. A final decision is expected towards the end of next week, said the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA).
The Finalissima is the match between the most recent champion nations in the European Championship and the South American Championship.
It is doubtful whether it is possible to play the match on March 27 at Lusail Stadium in Doha, where the 2022 World Cup final was played, given the warfare in the Middle East after the US and Israel attacked Iran.
If Doha is deemed too big a security risk to host the match, it could be moved to Spain or elsewhere in Europe where almost all the players in the two squads are based.
