One of the clubs is Sebastian Nanasi's Strasbourg, as squad costs account for a large percentage of the club's revenue.

The French team has been fined 25 million euros, but only needs to pay 13 million euros, just over 144 million kronor, if the club reduces its squad costs during the year.

Victor Nilsson Lindelöf's Aston Villa will also be fined approximately 83 million kronor for the same violation.

Anthony Elanga's Newcastle is also being punished, but gets away with a fine of 33 million kronor.

Other clubs to be fined are Fenerbahce, Fiorentina, Chelsea, Nottingham Forest, Athens and Nice.
