Guillemot's brother, Yves Guillemot, is the CEO of Ubisoft.
The plane crash took place in La Baule-Escoublac, a resort town on France's Atlantic coast, where an air show was due to be held this weekend, Ouest-France newspaper reported.
Claude Guillemot was one of two people on board the aircraft. Both died in the accident.
Guillemot was 69.
