Uber safari is primarily aimed at domestic tourists and business travelers who want to take a quick safari during a shorter stay in Kenya's capital Nairobi.
Passengers can book three-hour day or night trips in the app to see, among other things, lions, rhinos and leopards.
"By opening the platform to local travel arrangers and fleet partners, Uber safari creates new revenue opportunities for those who already have vehicles and expertise in safari guiding," says Uber in a statement.
